It’s time for honesty; Are you led by the Spirit of God (Holy Spirit).

Gal 5:18 says that if you are led by the Spirit then you are not under the law.

What is the comparison between led by the Spirit and being under the Law?   When we think of the Law (Moses); we are to follow some rules or regulations that govern the way we conduct our lives.  If God leads us than we will do what is right.  We will please God rather then our flesh.Galatians 5:16-18 (NKJV) 16 I say then: Walk in the Spirit, and you shall not fulfill the lust of the flesh. 17 For the flesh lusts against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh; and these are contrary to one another, so that you do not do the things that you wish. 18 But if you are led by the Spirit, you are not under the law...

Redemption is a term used in the Bible to refer to the special intervention of God for the salvation of mankind. This use of the word deals with the work of Jesus Christ on the cross in which He paid the price to purchase human beings and set them free from their slavery to sin. On account of Christ’s substitutionary atonement, He is called the redeemer.
